MCS Group is seeking an experienced Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Manager to lead the development and delivery of an EDI strategy, ensuring inclusion is embedded across every aspect of our clients business. The Opportunity
As EDI Manager, you will be the organisation's subject matter expert on equality, diversity and inclusion, working closely with senior leaders to champion best practice, influence decision-making, and drive positive cultural change. You will lead strategic initiatives that promote equality, improve employee experience, strengthen compliance, and ensure inclusion remains at the heart of everything we do.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the development and implementation of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Strategy.
- Advising senior leadership teams on EDI priorities, risks, and opportunities.
- Designing and delivering impactful EDI programmes, initiatives, and training.
- Building strong relationships with employee networks, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Monitoring emerging legislation, best practice, and industry developments.
- Managing statutory equality reporting and compliance requirements.
- Supporting inclusive recruitment, talent management, and workforce development.
- Driving engagement and awareness campaigns that promote an inclusive culture.
- Managing EDI-related projects from concept through to successful delivery.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a motivated and influential professional with:
- At least 3 years' experience in a senior HR or related role.
- Proven experience leading successful Equality, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives.
- Experience designing and delivering EDI training programmes.
- Knowledge of equality legislation and best practice, particularly within Northern Ireland.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience analysing data and producing reports to support strategic decision-making.
- The ability to influence, challenge, and inspire change at all levels of an organisation.
- Educated to Degree Level in a relevant business or HR related Subject.
- CIPD Membership.
Desirable
- Experience preparing reports for Boards or Senior Leadership Teams.
- Knowledge of duties under Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998.
