This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals who want to advance their career in financial services or legal documentation, working directly with global clients on high-value trading contracts. You'll join a specialist, high-performing team that provides expert negotiation support to top tier financial institutions. Key Responsibilities
- Contract Negotiation: Lead the drafting, negotiation, and execution of key trading documentation such as ISDA Master Agreements, Global Master Repurchase Agreements, and other derivatives or capital markets contracts.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all documentation adheres to current financial and regulatory standards.
- Client Communication: Collaborate with international clients and counterparties to finalise documentation, resolve issues, and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Risk Management: Identify, escalate, and mitigate legal, operational, and commercial risks during the negotiation process.
- Workflow & Knowledge Sharing: Keep accurate negotiation records, contribute to internal databases, and support continuous improvement initiatives within the wider team.
The ideal candidate
- Previous experience in a financial or legal document negotiation role.
- Proven familiarity with ISDA, GMRA, MRA, or MSFTA documentation.
- Strong understanding of contract negotiation principles, ideally within financial markets or capital markets.
- Exceptional communication and client management skills.
- Highly organised and detail-focused, with a proactive and analytical mindset.
- A degree in Law, Finance, STEM, or another analytical discipline.
