MCS Group are looking for a Corporate Tax Associate to join a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Belfast.
The Company: This firm provides a range of services including Audit, Accounts, Corporate Finance, Tax & Payroll to a wide range of clients across NI, ROI, and the US. Now is a brilliant time to join the company, as they look to add a Corporate Tax Associate to their growing team.
The Rewards: As the successful Corporate Tax Associate you will receive the following:
- £38k-£48k base salary plus £2k joining bonus
- Bonus based on performance (up to 10%)

The Role: As the successful Corporate Tax Associate you will be responsible for the following:
- Review and prepare corporate tax returns for HMRC
- Advise clients on corporate tax liabilities
- Conduct research on tax legislation to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities
- Liaise with HMRC as required
- Collaborate with clients and internal accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely submissions
The Person: The successful Corporate Tax Associate will meet the following criteria:
- ACA or CTA qualified
- Strong ATT-qualified candidates will also be considered
- Experience across mixed tax disciplines, including corporate and personal tax
- Proven ability to interact effectively with other technical professionals
- Excellent organisational skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and advanced Excel proficiency, able to present concise summaries of complex information
