MCS is proud to be a partner with a leading Financial Services Consultancy who now look to build upon several years of exciting growth by hiring a Compliance Associate for their Belfast offices. This new, full-time permanent job opportunity will see the successful individual play a key role in delivering audit and assurance support to the firm's global clients. This new role would suit those with an audit background in Financial Services or Banking, lots of regulatory knowledge and ideally some good client exposure gained from their experience to date.

Role Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Providing highest quality compliance work products to clients
  • Playing a key role in delivering on multiple projects - including but not limited to Information Security, Consumer Duty, Financial Crime, Safeguarding & more
  • Carrying out compliance audits for clients - advising of relevant recommendations to achieve regulatory compliance
  • Working closely with existing clients to help learn their business and design supporting regulatory strategy accordingly

Criteria:

  • Junior to Mid-level professionals within assurance, audit or compliance testing - within financial services, banking or fintech
  • Payments or Asset Management industry knowledge is desirable, but not essential
  • Demonstrable audit experience - any relevant kind of audit
  • ISO 27001 experience is desirable
  • Client-facing experience or exposure is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
