MCS Group is exclusively partnering with an established and growing SaaS business operating within the financial services and regulatory technology space, who are looking to hire a Product Owner to support the continued development of their regulatory technology product suite. This is an opportunity for an ambitious Product Owner to join a collaborative product team delivering solutions used by banks, fund managers and financial services organisations across a highly regulated market. The role will focus predominantly on the company's Regulatory Reporting Platform, alongside involvement in their wider product offering. The environment is Agile, delivery focused and suited to someone who enjoys working closely with technical teams on backend functionality, workflows, reporting and compliance driven products.
What you'll be doing:
- Owning and maintaining the product backlog across regulatory reporting and digital tagging products
- Writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria and feature specifications
- Running Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement and retrospectives
- Working closely with development teams to coordinate delivery and manage priorities
- Translating regulatory and operational requirements into clear product scope
- Collaborating with Product Managers and senior stakeholders across the business
- Supporting product releases and ensuring delivery against internal SLA deadlines
- Acting as a key point of contact for product related queries and escalations
- Contributing to the longer term product roadmap and platform evolution
