MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a global manufacturing organisation to recruit a Project Accountant to join their finance team based in Belfast. Due to continued growth and investment within their finance function, they are seeking an experienced Project Accountant to join their Belfast-based team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is an excellent opportunity to take on a broad and commercially focused role, working closely with key stakeholders across the business. The successful candidate will play an important role in financial reporting, forecasting, project performance and supporting wider business decision-making.

As the successful Project Accountant, you will receive:

  • ~£50,000 - £55,000 base salary + extensive benefits package;
  • ~ Annual Bonus (8%);
  • ~ Hybrid and flexible working arrangements (3 days office based);
  • ~ Broad exposure across international projects and senior stakeholders;

As the successful Project Accountant, you will report to the Financial Controller and will:

  • Manage project financial reporting, analysis and cost control;
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting and financial planning activities;
  • Partner with Project Managers and key stakeholders to support decision-making;
  • Ensure strong financial controls, governance and compliance;
  • Deliver accurate month-end reporting and financial information;

The successful Project Accountant will meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or Qualified by Experience;
  • Strong project/commercial accounting experience;
