Recruitment Resourcer - Public Sector Team Belfast City Centre

MCS Group is seeking a driven Recruitment Resourcer to support our high-performing Public Sector division in Belfast. You will play a key role in sourcing top talent for our Public Sector Clients, gaining deep exposure to a wide range of public sector organisations, and developing the skills needed to progress into a full 360 Recruitment Consultant role. This position is perfect for someone who is highly motivated, has a keen eye for details and is systems and process orientated! Candidates applying will enjoy working with people and want a clear pathway into a client-facing, commercially focused recruitment career.

Your Responsibilities

  • Talent sourcing & engagement: Identifying, attracting and engaging high-quality candidates, conducting initial screening calls to assess suitability.
  • Candidate experience: Guiding candidates through each stage of the recruitment journey and maintaining regular communication.
  • Compliance: Supporting the wider recruitment team by ensuring candidates meet Public Sector compliance requirements prior to submission, including reference checks, right-to-work validation, and any required disclosures or vetting documentation (e.g., AccessNI/DBS where applicable).
  • Systems: Operating a variety of systems ensuring data is cleansed and kept up to date.
  • Sales administration: Providing crucial administrative support to a team of recruiters handling tasks such as updating Customer Relationship Management Systems and generating reports.
