MCS Group is partnering with an industry-leading construction business to recruit a Senior Marketing and Communications Executive to join its growing team. This role will focus on delivering and executing integrated marketing strategies that promote and strengthen the company's brand, services, and expertise across targeted markets and clients, supporting sustained business growth.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the organisation's external profile through strategic campaigns, digital channels, content creation, market research, and events. Working closely with teams across the business, they will ensure the company's value proposition is clearly communicated, driving engagement, lead generation, employer branding, recruitment, internal communications, and continued expansion within the sustainable building services sector.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee digital channels, including the external website and social media, ensuring consistent branding, tone, and responsiveness.
- Own and deliver the social media strategy, including channel management, content planning, creation, scheduling, approvals, and engagement.
- Develop monthly and quarterly content calendars and create engaging, on-brand content across multiple platforms.
- Drive follower growth and engagement through strategic, platform-specific content.
- Act as the main point of contact for digital communications, providing guidance and training across the organisation.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on digital performance, using insights to optimise campaigns and inform marketing strategy.
- Research industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging digital techniques to identify opportunities and maintain best practice.
- Provide strategic insight and recommendations to support marketing and communications plans.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate products, projects, and initiatives into clear, compelling internal and external communications.
- Support internal communications, employer branding, recruitment activity, and wider Group marketing initiatives and events.
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years' experience in a senior marketing or communications role within B2B.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and formats.
- Proven experience leading day-to-day marketing activity and managing wider ad hoc projects.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, with strong presentation skills.
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
- Proficient in design, video, and analytical tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva), alongside Microsoft Office.
- Experience with social media management tools and CMS platforms such as WordPress.
