Bookkeeper - Short Term Contract Immediate/Urgent Need Dargan Area, Belfast Fixed Term Contract - Salary up to £30k
MCS Group are recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join a busy/fast paced Finance team in Belfast to cover a short term absence.
The Rewards:
- £26,000 - £30,000 base salary plus a generous retention bonus
- Flexible start/finish times
- Client open to candidates seeking part time & full time hours - minimum 4 days per week
The Role:
As the successful Temporary Bookkeeper you will report directly to the Finance Manager & will be responsible for the following duties:
- Accurate and timely processing of Sales and Purchase Ledger
- Issuing Purchase Orders
- Processing Monthly Payroll
- Updating Monthly Reports
- Undertaking Bank Reconciliations
- Credit Control
The Person:
The successful Temporary Bookkeeper will meet the following criteria:
- 5 GCSE's or equivalent at pass level including Maths and English;
- At least 1 year experience working in a fast pace dynamic finance team
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Finance
- Excellent MS Office skills including Excel and Experience using Management Information and ERP systems, with an interest in learning new technologies
- Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage own workload
- Experience of working towards deadlines and multi-tasking.
Desirable Criteria:
- Accounting Technician qualification/ Accounting qualification held or studying
- Experience of end-to-end payroll processing
- Experience working with Opera accounts system or Accura MIS
