An exciting temporary opportunity for an experienced finance leader to provide strategic oversight, trusted senior advice, and strong financial governance at the heart of the organisation.
The role:
- Lead all finance activity, ensuring strong governance, control, and assurance.
- Support board and audit committee oversight.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on strategic decisions.
- Lead financial planning, accounts, business cases, and business partnering.
- Drive value for money through solutions-focused financial management.
- Oversee procurement and commercial activity.
- Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
The Person
As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:
- Essential: Fully CCAB-qualified accountant with government finance experience.
- Proven experience preparing or auditing financial statements.
- Strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders and building effective relationships.
- Excellent communicator, able to distil complex financial information into clear, actionable insight.
- Holds CTC clearance or above.
