MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Technical Manager to join a busy and growing food production facility. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the site\’s technical and quality function, ensuring products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

You will:

• Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with BRCGS Food Standard v9 and customer requirements
• Lead the site through 3rd party and customer audits, managing corrective actions
• Maintain HACCP plans and oversee site compliance with regulatory standards
• Manage supplier approvals, risk assessments, and documentation
• Handle customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution
• Coordinate internal audits and close out non-conformances

You will have:

• Minimum 2 years\’ experience in a technical or quality role within food production
• Hands‑on experience with BRCGS v9 and major retailer standards
• Knowledge of food regulatory standards
• Third-level qualification in Food Safety / Technology
• Level 3 HACCP qualification
