A well-established professional services firm, based in Belfast, is seeking an experienced and proactive Financial Controller to manage their internal finance function. You will work closely with senior leadership, providing financial insights to support strategic decisions in a dynamic, growing business. As the successful Financial Controller, you will receive the following:

The Role: As the successful Financial Controller you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Shape and drive the financial strategy across all business units, with an emphasis on aligning with our corporate objectives.
- Lead and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, ensuring accuracy and supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with UK and international standards.
- Oversee statutory and regulatory compliance across regions.
- Act as a primary finance partner to the executive team, board members, and external stakeholders, providing insights into financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop and implement effective financial controls and risk management strategies to safeguard assets and improve financial outcomes.
- Lead and mentor a growing finance team, fostering a high-performance culture that aligns with our strategic priorities.
The Person: The successful Financial Controller will meet the following criteria:
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Excellent commercial acumen
- Strong communication skills
- Strong technical accounting skills
