MCS Group is delighted to recruit a Quality Engineer (4 day week) for our client who is a leading manufacturing business in County Down. This role will support quality systems, compliance, continuous improvement, supplier quality, and new product introduction within a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and audit activities
  • Managing non-conformances, CAPA and supplier quality issues
  • Supporting FAI, PPAP and NPI activities
  • Developing quality documentation and inspection plans
  • Analysing KPIs and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting calibration systems and compliance documentation
  • Acting as a key contact for customer quality queries

You will have:

  • Degree qualification in Engineering
  • Recent experience in a Quality role within manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems
  • Experience with audits, CAPA, FAI and PPAP
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret engineering drawings
