MCS Group is delighted to recruit a Quality Engineer (4 day week) for our client who is a leading manufacturing business in County Down. This role will support quality systems, compliance, continuous improvement, supplier quality, and new product introduction within a fast-paced engineering environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and audit activities
- Managing non-conformances, CAPA and supplier quality issues
- Supporting FAI, PPAP and NPI activities
- Developing quality documentation and inspection plans
- Analysing KPIs and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Supporting calibration systems and compliance documentation
- Acting as a key contact for customer quality queries
You will have:
- Degree qualification in Engineering
- Recent experience in a Quality role within manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems
- Experience with audits, CAPA, FAI and PPAP
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret engineering drawings
