MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a well-established, privately-owned organisation with operations across the UK and Ireland as they recruit an IT Support Engineer to join their growing business. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious IT professional who enjoys hands-on support but wants to develop their career beyond day-to-day ticket resolution. You'll become a key member of the organisation's IT function, supporting users across multiple locations while helping drive a major programme of IT modernisation and business transformation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing first and second line IT support to users across the business
- Supporting Microsoft 365 technologies including Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint and OneDrive
- Managing user accounts within Active Directory and Entra ID
- Supporting Windows desktop and server environments
- Troubleshooting networking issues including switches, firewalls, DNS and DHCP
- Working alongside external IT partners and suppliers
- Contributing to infrastructure and cloud projects
- Supporting hardware, software, mobile devices and printers
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years' experience in an IT Support or Infrastructure Support role
- Strong Microsoft 365 administration and support experience
- Experience with Windows Server environments
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID
- Good networking fundamentals
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Full driving licence
Nice to Have
- Intune experience
- Conditional Access and Endpoint Management exposure
- ITIL knowledge
- VoIP support experience
- Project delivery experience
