MCS Group is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for our client, a growing infrastructure and engineering business operating across Europe. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business working across energy, renewables and data centre projects, playing a key role in strengthening the commercial function and supporting ambitious growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects commercially from tender through to final account
- Monitor costs, margins, forecasts and overall financial performance
- Manage valuations, variations, change control and subcontractor costs
- Support tendering, procurement and commercial reporting
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities
- Provide commercial insight to senior management
- Help develop commercial processes as the business continues to grow
About You
- Proven Quantity Surveying experience within construction, engineering or infrastructure
- Strong commercial and financial awareness
- Experience managing projects from tender through to final account
- NEC contract experience is highly desirable
- Electrical, MEP/MEICA or infrastructure experience is preferred
- Energy, renewables, data centre or wider infrastructure experience is desirable
- Strong communication and commercial negotiation skills
- Candidates from QS through to Managing QS level will be considered
