MCS Group is recruiting a Mechanical Design Technician/CAD Technician to join our rapidly growing engineering business, investing heavily in its people, systems, and future growth. As the Mechanical Design Technician, you will support a busy and expanding Mechanical Design team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with CAD and drawing experience who wants to develop their career in a progressive engineering business with exciting long-term plans. You will play a key role in supporting live engineering projects by producing and maintaining accurate 3D models, drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing information that help drive quality and efficiency across the business.
The Candidate
- Experience using 3D CAD software (Inventor preferred)
- Ability to create and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and an organised approach
- Understanding of manufacturing and mechanical design processes
