MCS Group have partnered with the Northern Health & Social Care Trust to recruit an Interim Support Accountant to join their Financial Management team based in Ballymena. Reporting to the Divisional Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting financial management across operational Directorates, delivering insightful financial analysis, budgetary control, forecasting, and strategic financial support to senior managers and clinicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Support budget setting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring
- Produce meaningful financial and management reports
- Analyse complex financial and non-financial data
- Support efficiency savings and service improvement initiatives
- Liaise with budget holders, auditors, and finance teams
- Deputise for the Divisional Accountant when required
Essential Criteria
- Full CCAB or CIMA qualification
- Minimum 2 years' relevant finance experience at supervisory level
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
- Experience interpreting complex financial data
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport
