The Role:
- Supports delivery of the organisation's information governance framework and compliance requirements.
- Ensures adherence to UK GDPR, FOI, EIR and related information governance legislation.
- Provides guidance on data protection, records management and governance best practice.
- Develops, reviews and maintains governance documentation, including DPIAs, DSAs and privacy notices.
- Monitors and improves information governance processes and records management systems.
- Works collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to support governance objectives.
- Delivers project-based governance work to address documentation backlogs and compliance priorities.
The Person
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Degree qualified in any discipline, or alternatively extensive relevant experience.
- Experience advising management on policies, procedures and legislative compliance.
- Proven ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives.
- Skilled in preparing professional reports and correspondence.
