The Role:
- Supports delivery and improvement of the corporate health and safety framework.
- Provides health and safety advice and guidance to managers and employees.
- Assists with inspections, audits and investigations to ensure compliance and safe working practices.
- Supports health and safety systems, reporting processes and performance monitoring.
- Coordinates and delivers health and safety training, inductions and awareness activity.
- Prepares reports, recommendations and initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
- Works collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners to support health and safety objectives.
The Person
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Essential: Degree qualified with a NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent. Alternatively, candidates without formal qualifications must demonstrate extensive Health & Safety Officer experience.
- Strong background providing practical health and safety advice and guidance with successful outcomes.
- Skilled in developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures aligned with legislation and best practice.
