The Opportunity
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will take ownership of the finance function for a key division of the business. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, providing financial insight and analysis while supporting continued growth and operational performance. The Role
- Act as the finance lead for a designated business division
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure strong financial controls
- Maintain and oversee the Fixed Asset Register
- Deliver detailed variance analysis and performance reporting
- Review manufacturing and operational costings to support business performance
- Provide financial insight and support to senior stakeholders across the organisation
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operational functions
- Mentor and support junior members of the finance team
The Person
- Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accountant
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with advanced Excel skills
- Experience influencing and supporting senior stakeholders
- Commercially aware with the ability to understand wider business objectives
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, adaptable, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
