The Opportunity

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will take ownership of the finance function for a key division of the business. This role offers excellent exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence strategic and operational decision making within a fast paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, providing financial insight and analysis while supporting continued growth and operational performance. The Role

  • Act as the finance lead for a designated business division
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure strong financial controls
  • Maintain and oversee the Fixed Asset Register
  • Deliver detailed variance analysis and performance reporting
  • Review manufacturing and operational costings to support business performance
  • Provide financial insight and support to senior stakeholders across the organisation
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting processes
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operational functions
  • Mentor and support junior members of the finance team

The Person

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accountant
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with advanced Excel skills
  • Experience influencing and supporting senior stakeholders
  • Commercially aware with the ability to understand wider business objectives
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
