Assistant Tax Accountant – Craigavon

MCS Group are looking for an Assistant Tax Accountant to join one of Ireland\’s leading employers in the Craigavon area.

The Company

Our client is a multinational company based in the Craigavon area and have multiple sites across Europe and the Americas. They produce a range of high-quality food products for their extensive global customer base. This is a newly created Assistant Tax Accountant role for their Craigavon finance function.

The Role

As the successful Assistant Tax Accountant you will report directly to the Direct Tax Manager:

• Assist with periodic tax & financial reports;
• Support monthly, quarterly & annual reporting cycles;
• Balance sheet reconciliations & tax postings;
• Assist with VAT & Intrastat reconciliations;
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person

The successful Assistant Tax Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified, Part-Qualified or Qualified by Experience;
• Open to tax or general accountancy experience;
• Open industry or accountancy practice background;
• Strong IT skills.
