Assistant Bursar – Lisburn (Exclusive) MCS Group are exclusively working with Friend's School Lisburn to appoint an Assistant Bursar role to their finance function. The Company: Friends' School Lisburn are one Northern Ireland's most prestigious voluntary Grammar Schools. Currently celebrating 250 years since it foundation, the school has over 1000 pupils across both the Grammar School and Preparatory Department. Now is a great time to be joining the school as they look to add an Assistant Bursar to their finance function. The Rewards: As the successful Assistant Bursar you will receive the following: Salary up to £45,000 + benefits; 19% NILGOSC pension; Flexible/hybrid working options (4 days office/1 day home); You will be joining a warm, friendly environment. The Role: As the successful Assistant Bursar, you will be reporting to the Bursar and will be responsible for the following duties: Preparation of monthly management accounts & reporting; Assist with preparation of statutory accounts; Monthly VAT returns; Oversight for transactional finance; Liaise with internal & external auditors; Other duties as outlined in the full job description.
