MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Health & Safety Officer for our client, a leading provider of electrical engineering and technical services delivering complex projects across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. This role will focus heavily on large-scale, high-spec data centre developments, working within fast-paced environments on technically complex and evolving scopes. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, driving a strong safety culture, and supporting safe delivery across major projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Support site teams in maintaining a strong safety culture
About You
- Experience in a Health & Safety role within construction or engineering
- Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and best practice
- Experience working on large-scale or fast-paced projects
- Data centre project experience is advantageous but not essential
Qualifications
- NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)
- Relevant H&S qualification
