Looking for an opportunity to deliver impactful capital projects that enhance local communities and infrastructure? This role offers the chance to manage projects from inception to completion, overseeing procurement, contract administration, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery.

MCS Group are proud to be partnering with an organisation in their search for a Capital Projects Officer. This position is ideal for a proactive and organised project management professional with experience in the built environment, capable of coordinating consultants and contractors, managing budgets and risks, and ensuring the successful delivery of capital programmes in line with quality, cost, and statutory requirements.

The Role:

  • Deliver capital projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Monitor project budgets, risks, performance, and change controls.
  • Coordinate stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
  • Prepare project briefs, reports, applications, and handover documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, governance, and project management standards.

Project management experience delivering built environment projects. Strong project, financial, organisational, and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge of procurement, contracts, health & safety, and project management systems. Experience managing consultants, contractors, and project teams. Full driving licence (or equivalent transport access) and flexibility for out-of-hours work.

Salary: £51-52,000 annual equivalent. Fantastic annual leave allowance, 35 days total. Hybrid and flexible working arrangements. Immediate start.
