This opportunity is ideal for an HR professional with broad generalist experience who enjoys operating in a busy environment and is committed to supporting people-focused initiatives, operational excellence, and ongoing development.
The main responsibilities:
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including preparing job specifications, posting vacancies, shortlisting applicants, and coordinating interview processes.
- Support the onboarding journey for new employees, ensuring an effective and welcoming induction experience.
- Act as an initial point of contact for HR guidance, advising managers and staff on company policies and employment procedures.
- Assist with employee relations matters including absence monitoring, grievance handling, and low-level disciplinary cases, ensuring accurate record keeping throughout.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that support employees throughout the full employment lifecycle.
- Ensure employee data and HR records are maintained accurately and compliantly in accordance with GDPR requirements and company standards.
- Provide support in reviewing, updating, and introducing HR policies and procedures where required.
The ideal candidate:
- Hold a third-level qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Possess, or working towards a CIPD qualification.
- Demonstrate previous HR generalist experience, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
- Have a sound working knowledge of Northern Ireland employment legislation and its practical application.
