MCS Group is recruiting for a Head of Systems to take a pivotal leadership role at the heart of a growing, forward-thinking energy business. This is a brand new position, created as part of our clients' expansion, giving you the chance to define the systems strategy, influence major investment decisions, and build capability across a portfolio of plants.
This is a rare opportunity to shape a critical function and scale. In this role you will own and evolve the Group's operational systems landscape, from PLC and SCADA environments to CMMS and asset lifecycle platforms, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and fit for a high-performing operation.
Working closely with senior leadership, operations, engineering, and external partners, you'll drive innovation, standardisation, and continuous improvement across all sites. This role is about more than maintaining systems; it's about creating the blueprint for the future. You will lead strategy, oversee major system implementations, strengthen data and governance, and play a key role in how the business scales in the years ahead.
We are looking for someone with strong experience in industrial/process environments (including PLCs & SCADA) with experience of delivering systems across multiple sites, and the leadership presence to influence at every level. If you're ready to step into a role where you can build, shape, and leave a lasting impact, this is your opportunity.
To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up-to-date CV via the link provided or contact Kirsty Dillon, Specialist Consultant at MCS Group.
