The predicted salary is between 20 - 30 £ per hour.

MCS Group are proud to be working with a public sector organisation to recruit a temporary Finance Performance Officer for up to 6 months. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a complex organisation and contribute to the financial strategy and spending plans.

You will control revenue and capital estimates to enable the organisation to agree spending plans. You will ensure accounting standards are adhered to, setting policies and procedures and providing financial guidance to all levels of management. You will develop and produce the corporate finance plan and conduct financial planning and investment appraisal exercises to provide information for decision making. You will contribute to post project evaluation and develop the organisations management accounts systems to ensure accurate and efficient reporting. You will attend meetings, partner and support managers and advise on Treasury management and provide information on the portfolio of assets.

Role Duration: 6 months
Location: Antrim
Pay rate: £25 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm

The person
To be successful in the role, you will demonstrate the following:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Finance or Accountancy
  • Member by examination of CCAB recognised body
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a computerised accounting environment at a senior level

Candidates who do not meet the academic qualification above will be considered if they have 4 years' relevant experience at a senior level.
