The Benefits The successful Accounts Technician / Part-Qualified Accountant can expect to receive the following: 28 days' holiday including 10 closure days, with the potential to increase based on length of service Auto-enrolment pension scheme Annual salary review Performance bonus and commission for introduction of new clients Access to a company health policy 37.5-hour working week with an early Friday finish once hours are completed The Role You will have a wide range of duties, such as; Prepare year-end accounts for a portfolio of small to medium-sized businesses, with a focus on medical sector clients Liaise directly with clients to gather information, clarify queries, and build strong working relationships Work closely with a manager to ensure timely and accurate delivery of accounts Assist with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and review of client records to ensure completeness and accuracy Handle accounts for newly on boarded clients following a recent acquisition, supporting smooth transitions and data integration Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal procedures Support ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as required Contribute to a collaborative and client-focused team environment The Person The ideal candidate will be: Strong accounts preparation experience is essential Part-qualified or qualified by experience (QBE) candidates will be considered Industry background will be considered if prior experience has been in Practice Support available for candidates interested in pursuing further professional qualifications (e.g. ACA/ACCA) Option for candidates to remain at Accounts Technician level and opportunity to progress.
