Overview
Are you experienced in delivering high-impact events within the public sector? This role offers the chance to lead the planning and execution of large-scale events that enhance brand visibility, engage key stakeholders, and support the organisation\’s strategic objectives.
The role
- Develop and implement strategic communications initiatives, including marketing projects, public/media relations, and large-scale events, aligned with corporate objectives.
- Provide expert communications advice to internal teams and stakeholders, managing campaign delivery and ensuring alignment with strategic goals and brand positioning.
- Lead and execute targeted, data-driven marketing campaigns across digital, email, and traditional channels, ensuring consistent messaging and measurable ROI.
- Oversee planning and delivery of high-impact events, coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and speakers to enhance brand visibility.
- Create and manage public/media relations content, including press releases, speeches, and articles to promote brand awareness and organisational messaging.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on communications performance, including campaign KPIs, marketing spend effectiveness, and recommendations for optimisation.
- Manage external suppliers and mentor team members, ensuring quality delivery of communication activities, strategic alignment, and value for money.
The Person
As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:
Essential
- Experience in communications and/or events management.
- A third level qualification
- Proven track record in planning and delivering impactful large-scale events.
- Experience executing integrated marketing campaigns aligned with strategic goals.
- Skilled in developing public and media relations strategies and content creation.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
