Professional Authorisations Manager – Belfast

MCS Group are looking for a Professional Authorisations Manager to join a leading professional accountancy body.

The Company:

Our client is a leading professional accountancy body based in Ireland with over 39,000 members in over 100+ countries. They engage with several stakeholders including governments, policy makers, regulators, and business groups on key issues affecting the profession and the wider economy. They support their members at every stage of their career from education to qualification to continuing professional development. Now is great time to join the organisation as they look to add newly created Professional Authorisations Manager role to their team.

The Role:

As the successful Professional Authorisations Manager you will report directly to the Head of Professional Authorisations and will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee a small team;
  • Oversee approval of individual & firm applications to public practice;
  • Maintain statutory registers;
  • Liaise with external regulatory bodies;
  • Participate in digital transformations and process improvement;
  • Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Professional Authorisations Manager will meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent
  • Previous external audit experience;
  • Strong management experience;
  • Strong communications skills.
