MCS Group is delighted to be working alongside a leading energy sector organisation as they transform Northern Ireland's power system for future generations to recruit a Communications and Engagement Executive to join the team. This is a brilliant opportunity for an engaging, multi-disciplinary communicator, with a passion for community, to join a fast-moving, collaborative and team orientated company.
Core Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of public engagement and project communications for the large infrastructure programmes.
- Support with the planning and delivery of communications activity including community and stakeholder engagement, media relations, public affairs, and digital communications.
- Support with the development and execution of community consultation and communications plans for projects.
- Reporting, website management, regional media, digital/social media campaigns and community event management.
- Measuring, enhancing, and improving the engagement approach for developers, communities, councils, and other stakeholders.
- Support with wider corporate communications activity as and when required.
Essential:
- 1 years' experience in similar roles.
- A third level qualification in a related discipline (communications, planning/built environment, politics, journalism) OR 3 years' experience.
- You will have experience of developing compelling communications content to promote a particular project or initiative.
- Demonstrable organisational and planning skills.
- Good written and oral communications skills.
- A full clean driving licence.
