MCS Group are delighted to be working with a Large Public Sector Organisation in their search for a Waste Operations Supervisor on a Temporary contract.

The Role:

1. Responsible for day to day operational delivery of services to include refuse collection, commercial waste collection, kerb-side recycling collection, street cleansing, bulky collection, deliveries, public conveniences and other cleaning.
2. Schedule the ongoing workload of the Service, allocate work, monitor and report on progress maximising service efficiency.
3. Contribute to development of the technical functions of the Waste Service, including Fleet Management, Waste Collection, recycling and disposal, and liaise with other officers in this regard.

The Person:

1. Qualified to a minimum of degree level in a relevant discipline such as Management Practice or Environmental Service.
2. Two years\’ experience in the Management of an Operational Service delivering successful outcomes.
3. A full current driving licence.
