MCS Group is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading Food Manufacturing company, to recruit a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to lead their site in Strabane area.

You will play a key role in supporting the leadership team to drive a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and promoting continuous improvement in health, safety and wellbeing.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with operational leaders to deliver the site safety strategy.
  • Providing expert guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters.
  • Leading risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
  • Developing and delivering training programmes to enhance safety awareness.
  • Driving cultural change to embed safe working practices across all levels of the business.

The Person

You will be an experienced Health & Safety professional, with a proven track record in a manufacturing or production environment. You will be confident in influencing and engaging teams at all levels, with the ability to balance hands-on operational involvement with strategic input.

Essential criteria:

  • NEBOSH certificate, or equivalent.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK health & safety legislation.
  • Hands on HSE experience.
