MCS Group is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading Food Manufacturing company, to recruit a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to lead their site in Strabane area. You will play a key role in supporting the leadership team to drive a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and promoting continuous improvement in health, safety and wellbeing. What\’s in it for you; Salary circa 40-48K Bonus scheme Private medical insurance Contributory company pension Site based role, but some flex for WFH Competitive holidays package – 25 days stats Your responsibilities will include: Partnering with operational leaders to deliver the site safety strategy. Providing expert guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters. Leading risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations. Developing and delivering training programmes to enhance safety awareness. Driving cultural change to embed safe working practices across all levels of the business. The Person You will be an experienced Health & Safety professional, with a proven track record in a manufacturing or production environment. You will be confident in influencing and engaging teams at all levels, with the ability to balance hands-on operational involvement with strategic input. Essential criteria: NEBOSH certificate, or equivalent. Strong working knowledge of UK health & safety legislation. Hands on HSE experience. Full details will be discussed upon application.
