MCS Group are delighted to partner with an award-winning food producer based in County Down to recruit a Sales Account Manager. The successful candidate will manage the territory of GB, with flexibility to be based in Northern Ireland, and will travel as required. The Sales Account Manager will enjoy autonomy in their role, with the option to work from home or utilise the company's excellent office facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading FMCG company with a strong presence across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and Great Britain.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for key account management and the acquisition of new business.
- Confident in managing relationships between retailers and wholesalers.
- Develop and implement a sales strategy across Great Britain, driving business growth.
- Cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Achieve sales targets and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) effectively.
- Provide regular sales reports and analysis on business growth.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Ideally, at least five years of experience in FMCG sales or business development.
- A genuine passion for the FMCG sector with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
- A proven track record in achieving sales targets and leading business development efforts.
- Prior knowledge of the retail and consumer landscape (experience in Great Britain would be advantageous, but not essential).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A full, clean driving licence is required.
