Are you ready to make a difference with your CT experience in a busy Clinical Services Division?
We\’re recruiting on behalf of Northern Health and Social Care Trust to add Radiographers who specialise in CT.
As a Radiographer, you will undertake CT Scanning duties within the Northern Trust. To participate in extended working days and out of hours sessions to include CT on-call rotation or CT shift system.
The role:
- Lead by example to uphold high professional standards, supporting junior staff and working collaboratively within the CT team.
- Undertake CT scanning across Causeway Hospital, other Northern Trust sites, and mobile locations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and Trust policies including IR(ME)R 2018, IRR 2017, Health and Safety, COSHH, Human Medicines Regulations, and professional codes of conduct.
- Maintain safe and effective use of equipment, ensuring radiation doses are as low as reasonably practicable while prioritising patient-centred care, dignity, and confidentiality.
- Participate in professional development, in-service training, intravenous contrast administration, quality assurance programmes, audits, and research activities as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives including quality management systems, accreditation processes, and the review of radiology documentation.
- Provide flexible service delivery, including out-of-hours cover, extended working sessions, and on-call duties, whilst promoting teamwork, openness, and the values of the Health and Social Care service.
The Person
As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:
Essential:
- Radiography degree/diploma.
- Valid HCPC registration.
- Post-qualifcation experience in General Diagnostic Radiography.
