QA Tester (2-3 Years\’ Experience) – Data Pipelines | London | 6-Month FTC (Strong View to Perm)
Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in Central London)
Salary: £40,000 (pro rata)

We\’re working with a fast-growing data-led technology company known for its work in the loyalty and financial services space. They deliver scalable, high-quality data products to some of the UK\’s biggest banks and retailers – and they\’re now building a brand-new team in London.

They\’re hiring a QA Tester with around 2-3 years of experience – someone comfortable testing data pipelines and keen to develop further in a cloud-first environment. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with a strong view to becoming permanent – Perfect for someone with a couple of years of QA experience who\’s looking to take the next step in a collaborative, data-focused environment.

What you\’ll be doing

Testing and maintaining automated data pipelines and ETL jobs

Writing and reviewing SQL queries to validate data integrity

Supporting the testing of AWS-based data workflows (Athena experience is a bonus)

Designing and running data quality tests, both automated and manual

Collaborating with cross-functional, often remote teams

What they\’re looking for

2-3 years\’ experience in QA or software testing, ideally with a focus on data

Experience testing ETL jobs or data pipelines

Some exposure to cloud-based data environments (AWS preferred)

Confident owning test plans and working independently when needed

Bonus if you have:

Experience using Athena or other AWS data tools

Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g. Postman)

Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g. Cypress, Selenium)

Awareness of PCI compliance or experience working with external clients
