About the Company

Our client is a leading UK Reg Tech company building automation platforms that help banks, insurers, investment firms and other highly regulated organisations manage increasingly complex regulatory reporting obligations.

Their technology translates changing financial regulations into automated workflows, helping enterprise clients remain compliant across multiple jurisdictions without relying on manual processes.

As the business continues to grow, they're investing heavily in their core automation platform, bringing more regulatory capability directly into the product.

As part of that growth, they're looking for a Product Manager with deep financial regulatory reporting expertise to become one of the key regulatory specialists within the business.

The Opportunity

This isn't a traditional Product Manager role focused on user stories, sprint planning or feature roadmaps.

Instead, you'll become the regulatory expert within the Product team, sitting between regulation, engineering and enterprise clients to ensure new regulatory requirements are accurately interpreted and translated into scalable software.

  • You'll work closely with Product, Engineering and senior stakeholders to determine:
  • What new regulations mean in practice.
  • How those regulations should be reflected within the platform.
  • Which changes should be prioritised.
  • How enterprise customers should interpret evolving regulatory obligations.

If you enjoy solving complex regulatory problems and influencing how technology responds to changing legislation, this is an opportunity to have genuine impact.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Monitor emerging financial regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Conduct detailed research using legislative texts, regulator publications, official guidance and industry sources.
  • Interpret complex regulations and assess their impact on customers and the platform.
  • Translate legislation into clear product requirements for Engineering teams.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to determine how regulatory obligations should be automated.
  • Support enterprise clients with complex regulatory interpretation.
  • Help prioritise platform development based on regulatory deadlines and commercial impact.
  • Engage with regulators and industry bodies where additional clarification is required.
  • Support the rollout of new regulatory reporting capabilities across the platform.

What We're Looking For

We're far more interested in regulatory expertise than traditional Product Management experience.

You’ll likely come from a background in

You’ll also bring

  • Strong regulatory research and interpretation skills.
  • The ability to communicate complex legislation to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working within regulated financial services or compliance environments.
  • Strong analytical thinking and commercial judgement.
  • Experience working alongside Product or Engineering teams.
  • Confidence operating in fast-moving environments where priorities evolve quickly.
  • Nice to Have
  • Exposure to tax regulation or Pillar Two.
  • Experience with regulatory taxonomies.

  • Experience working with automation or compliance platforms.
  • Multi-jurisdiction regulatory reporting exposure.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to become one of the key regulatory specialists within a growing Reg Tech business that's investing heavily in its automation platform.

Rather than simply interpreting legislation, you'll directly influence how complex financial regulations are transformed into software used by some of the world's largest financial institutions.

You’ll work on genuinely challenging regulatory problems, collaborate closely with Product and Engineering, and play a central role in shaping the future direction of the platform.
