MCS Group is recruiting on behalf of a well established community pharmacy group to appoint a Pharmacy Manager to lead one of their busy pharmacy locations across Northern Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive and patient focused pharmacy organisation with a strong reputation for professional service delivery and community care. You will have overall responsibility for the safe, effective and commercially successful operation of the pharmacy while leading and developing a dedicated team.
The Role:
- Take full accountability for the day to day management and performance of the pharmacy, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant practice at all times.
- Deliver high quality clinical and pharmaceutical care, supporting patients with medicines optimisation, counselling and professional advice.
- Lead, motivate and develop the pharmacy team, providing supervision, training and performance management to ensure excellent service standards.
- Drive the delivery and growth of NHS and private pharmacy services, including vaccinations and enhanced clinical services.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, professional and company standards, including GPhC or PSNI requirements and standard operating procedures.
- Manage stock control, dispensing accuracy, operational processes and commercial performance to meet business objectives.
- Build strong relationships with patients, GP practices and the wider healthcare community to enhance service integration and patient outcomes.
The Person:
- MPharm degree or equivalent and current registration with the GPhC or Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland.
- Post qualification experience within a community pharmacy setting.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a pharmacy team in a fast paced environment.
- Strong clinical, organisational and communication skills with a patient focused approach.
- Previous Pharmacy Manager experience is desirable but not essential.
