The Role
As a Laboratory Technician, you will:

  • Prepare, process, and analyse patient samples in line with standard operating procedures.

  • Perform routine laboratory tests and assist with specialist investigations under supervision.

  • Maintain equipment and ensure quality control standards are met.

  • Support Biomedical Scientists and senior staff with service improvement and audits.

Essential Criteria

  • Degree in a science-related subject (Biomedical Science, Biology, Chemistry, or similar).

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good teamwork and communication skills.

  • Enthusiasm to learn and develop within a healthcare laboratory environment.
