MCS Group is delighted to be working in partnership with a highly respected, locally based MEP contractor as we seek to appoint a HSEQ Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-profile projects. The company has recently secured a long-term, flagship construction project based in Belfast, further strengthening their presence and commitment to major infrastructure delivery in Northern Ireland.

As HSEQ Manager, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and maintaining the highest standards of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality compliance across this key project and wider operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust HSEQ policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and industry best practice.
  • Ensure all project teams are supported with up-to-date guidance, training, and risk assessments.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to monitor compliance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead incident investigations and drive corrective action implementation.
  • Maintain certifications including ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
  • Foster a strong safety-first culture across all sites and business units.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a similar HSEQ role within construction or MEP sectors.
  • Strong working knowledge of current HSEQ legislation and standards.
  • Experience with ISO management systems (9001, 14001, 45001).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.
