The development teams, led by the Director of Development, are based across the USA, Dublin, London, and Belfast, and collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality products.

Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Guidewire Developers to join both the Claims Center and Policy Center teams. These roles are integral to the P&C platform, supporting critical insurance solutions for U.S.-based clients. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Guidewire Claims Center & Policy Center, working hands-on to enhance and maintain the technology platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and configure solutions within Guidewire Claims Center/ Policy Center, with a focus on system upgrades, bug fixes, and feature implementations.
  • Spend at least 80% of your day hands-on in development, ensuring high-quality code and efficient problem-solving.
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure timely, optimised deliveries.
  • Lead code reviews, enforcing best practices to maintain high code quality and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and conduct technical discovery, working with REST APIs, SOAP, and microservices architectures.

Requirements

  • Experience: Mid-senior level with 7-8 years of Guidewire Claims Center/Policy Center, or both.
  • Relocation: Open to relocating to Belfast; sponsorship and relocation assistance available if needed.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Experience with AWS is preferred, as there are long-term plans to transition to cloud solutions.
  • Certifications: Guidewire certifications (e.g., Specialist, Ace) are a massive advantage.
  • Additional Experience: Prior experience in-house or with commercial insurance is desirable, as is any previous leadership experience.
