Are you an experienced Facilities Manager ready to take ownership of a multi-site operation? This is your opportunity to step into a dynamic and hands-on leadership role, supporting supply chain operations across multiple locations in Northern Ireland. You'll play a key role in managing both hard and soft services, driving operational excellence, contractor performance, and compliance with safety and service standards.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead the Facilities function across several supply chain sites in Northern Ireland.
- Support colleagues across the wider supply chain with expert Facilities input.
- Develop and manage systems for soft services delivery and hard services maintenance (both planned and reactive).
- Coordinate external service providers to minimise disruption and ensure cost-efficiency.
- Manage and deliver facilities-related projects from concept through to completion.
- Communicate with stakeholders to report on project progress and service performance.
- Implement safety protocols for all contractors, ensuring full compliance before and during site activities.
- Oversee contractor documentation including tenders, safety documentation, and financial records.
- Lead fire safety programmes and emergency response planning, in collaboration with Health & Safety teams.
- Ensure fire safety systems are fully functional, tested, and maintained.
- Supervise Facilities and Service Technicians to carry out first-line repairs and site support tasks.
- Manage maintenance contracts and ensure all plant and equipment is serviced and compliant.
- Track and report on key performance indicators for all Facilities activities.
What You'll Bring:
- A third-level qualification in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Strong Health & Safety knowledge and experience.
- At least 5 years' experience in managing contractors and service providers.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to lead and deliver multiple priorities.
- Clear and confident communication skills - both verbal and written.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent team leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational ability with a focus on meeting deadlines and adding value.
