MCS is excited to be partnering with an award-winning global SaaS company as they now look to hire a Compliance Officer to play a pivotal role in building upon their existing compliance program. This is a new full-time, permanent job opportunity within the firm's Legal & Compliance department which is a fully-remote working position (anywhere in Northern Ireland).

In this role you'll help in creating key policies and terms & conditions across multiple regions - so international or multi-region experience is highly desirable!

Role Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
  • Designing, implementing and maintaining compliance strategies (in line with privacy, data protection and regulatory requirements) across the multiple regions in which the company operates
  • Drafting of policies, privacy policies, terms & conditions and user agreements
  • Becoming a SME on global and regional regulatory changes - i.e. GDPR, CCPA law changes
  • Providing compliance policy guidance to internal teams such as sales, marketing, IT & more
  • Leading of audits and documentation compliance efforts globally
Criteria:
  • Demonstrable working experience within a compliance or regulatory role centred around data protection and privacy
  • Experience in designing and implementing compliance strategies
  • International or multi-region experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent working knowledge of privacy regulations - GDPR, CCPA & similar
  • Relevant certifications such as IAPP, CISA or CCEP are desirable but not essential
