MCS Group is partnering with a global tech-driven organization to recruit multiple Cloud Product Security Engineers across mid-to-senior levels. This role is for hands-on engineers who want to build and operate cloud-native security capabilities, focused on software, cloud, and security engineering within modern platforms, infrastructure, and developer workflows.
The Role
- Design, develop, and maintain security controls integrated directly into cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, enterprise services, and modern application environments.
- Operate within a strong product engineering mindset, owning solutions end-to-end from design through deployment and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate cloud-native security controls across AWS and/or Azure environments.
- Develop preventative, detective, and responsive security capabilities for cloud-hosted workloads.
- Engineer and maintain CSPM and DLP capabilities across enterprise cloud platforms.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and shared enterprise services.
- Build detection logic, automation, and response mechanisms to improve security operations.
- Integrate cloud security tooling with SIEM and monitoring platforms.
- Support incident response activities through improved detections and recovery mechanisms.
- Contribute to post-incident improvements and continuous optimisation of controls.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and automated testing practices across security solutions.
- Develop scalable, reliable, production-grade software and cloud services.
- Collaborate closely with platform engineers, developers, and product teams.
- Support continuous improvement across cloud security engineering practices.
About You
Essential
- Experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, or security engineering environments.
- Strong programming skills in at least one modern language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures and modern engineering practices.
- Experience building or supporting cloud security controls and automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud automation tooling.
Desirable
- Experience with CSPM, DLP, SIEM, or cloud security tooling.
- Exposure to detection engineering, incident response, or security automation.
- Understanding of secure cloud design principles and distributed systems.
- Experience with policy-as-code, drift detection, or automated remediation.
- Background in large-scale enterprise or regulated environments.
