MCS Group is delighted to be working with a fast growth building services company based in Co. Antrim who have recently secured a flagship project in Belfast. With a strong pipeline of upcoming local work, they are seeking a talented Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their team.

This is a hands-on, senior role where you will be trusted to run projects end-to-end - managing programmes, budgets, teams and client relationships, while ensuring quality, safety and compliance are never compromised.
Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical contracts from tender award to completion and handover.
- Act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants and design teams.
- Build strong working relationships with site teams, end users and maintenance teams.
- Ensure works are delivered in line with contract terms, drawings, specifications and legislation.
- Take full responsibility for health & safety compliance, reporting and site standards.
- Review drawings and specifications to support accurate costing and delivery.
- Lead site inductions, daily briefs and toolbox talks.
- Prepare and issue technical submissions, RAMS and method statements.
- Manage procurement of materials, plant, deliveries and hire.
- Monitor programme and performance, chair / attend progress meetings and report to stakeholders.
- Oversee commissioning and testing, ensuring full records for O&M manuals.
- Coordinate production of as-built drawings, building logbooks and operational guides.
- Work in line with company policies, maintaining a professional and organised site environment.
- Support the wider business with any additional duties aligned to your skillset.
Qualifications
- Trade or engineering background with minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical contracts / project management.
- Strong experience in project planning, scheduling and budgeting.
- HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
