MCS Group are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a well-established Financial Services firm to recruit a Finance Manager on a part-time basis (circa 20 hours per week) to join their growing business in Belfast.
The Company
Our client is a Northern Ireland-based financial services company with multiple entities. The business is entering an exciting transitional phase, with a strong focus on governance, financial control, and sustainable growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of the finance function within a regulated environment, working closely with senior leadership and playing a key role in strategic decision-making.
The Rewards
- £50,000-60,000 (FTE) base salary + extensive benefits;

The Role
As the successful Finance Manager (Part-Time), you will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for the following duties:
- Oversee all aspects of financial management including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial planning;
- Preparation of monthly management accounts & reporting packs;
- Ownership for budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial planning processes;
- Lead day-to-day finance operations including AP/AR, payroll, general ledger and intercompany cross-charges;
- Develop and implement robust financial controls, policies and procedures;
- Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-making;
- Other duties as outlined in the full job description.
The Person
The successful Finance Manager (Part-Time) will meet the following criteria:
- Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or Qualified by Experience;
- Strong management accounts experience;
- Strong commercial acumen.
