MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit a Financial Controller to join their finance function based in Banbridge.
The Company:
Our client is a successful and growing organisation with an established presence in Northern Ireland. As part of continued growth and development, they are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function and play a key role in financial reporting, governance and business performance.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take a senior leadership position, lead a finance team and contribute to the continued development of the wider business.
The Rewards:
- £65,000-£80,000 base salary + extensive benefits package;
- Office based with early finish Friday;
- Opportunity to lead and develop an established finance team;
- Senior-level exposure and close partnership with the Finance Director.
The Role:
As the successful Financial Controller, you will report directly to the Finance Director and will:
- Lead and develop the finance team, driving a high-performance culture;
- Own the review, consolidation and delivery of monthly management accounts packs;
- Lead budgeting & forecasting processes;
- Business partner with key stakeholders to support strategic and operational decision-making;
- Oversee financial governance, internal controls, statutory accounts, VAT and tax compliance;
- Support finance systems development and drive continuous improvement, automation and reporting efficiency;
- Other duties as outlined in the full job description.
The Person:
The successful Financial Controller will meet the following criteria:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or equivalent;
- Relevant industry experience;
- Proven senior finance leadership experience;
- Strong stakeholder management experience.
