MCS Group is proud to be partnering with a well-established Construction Specialist Contractor delivering high-quality services across the UK and Ireland. As SHEQ Manager, you will be working with major Tier 1 contractors, working on flagship projects as well as leading SHEQ for the Manufacturing side of the business.

You will

  • Develop and implement SHEQ policies and procedures, in line with regulatory and company standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure the company is compliant.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety practices, environmental awareness, quality assurance and risk management.
  • Develop and maintain an effective SHEQ management system, including the integration of ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and ISO50001 management system standards.
  • Ensure relevant documentation is maintained for all SHEQ activities.
  • Analyse and report on SHEQ performance metrics, identifying areas of improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Manage incident reporting, investigation and follow-up process to identify root causes and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Criteria

  • Strong experience in Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management systems, including the development and implementation of ISO management systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of SHEQ regulations and standards.
  • Experience in conducting audits and inspections, developing training programs, and providing guidance and support to employees.
